Long day yesterday. One highpoint is that I tried out a style I learned on Chescaleigh’s youtube loc channel. My coworker told me about it, and It is wonderful. I needed new ways to do my hair. It is getting awfully long and sometimes I get bored with it. I’m going to try an updo for Sunday brunch and the Kings and Queens party tomorrow.
I’ve fallen terribly behind in my photos. So I’m gonna just forgive my self and post a few today. I am finding new life in my hair. Now that I am finding new ways to style it, I’m no longer itching to cut them off. Here are photos of the process of doing my hair this weekend. I washed it then did palm roll maintenance. As I rolled 3 dreads, I braided them and put them into bantu knots. I wore them in the knots out that night. They were pretty cute. but I couldn’t sleep in them too well so today I took the out and I have large curls. In a week or so, or when I lose some of the curls, I will unbraid them and have them crinkly. Three styles in one! yay me!

My hair is almost waist length. I have layers, but the very back is at the longest its ever been. I am heading down the path of juju medicine woman. Gonna need a trim soon. Love my locs, but I don’t think obiah woman stylee is my thing.

It takes me forever to do my hair. The boys need attention. Here is me doing both.
Putting curlers in my hair to get that dredloc’d Farrah Fawcett swag. took a break to snap a photo as I think that hair in curlers is an automatically hilarious image.
Those things were too tight. I had to let them out even though they weren’t dry. I think Bob approves. #after #locs #Bantu #dreadlocs (at my flat)
I really am enjoying my hair today #selfies #locs #natural hair #dreadlocs (at in the corner of your eye)
